Un Posto Al Sole (A Place in the Sun) is a much loved Italian soap produced by RaiTre, RAI Fiction, FremantleMedia Italia and Centro di Produzione, Naples. Now in its 13th year of programming, it has produced over 2,800 episodes.
A Place in the Sun features all the classic soap themes: love, intrigue, passion, jealousy, plotting and friendship and follows the volcanic lives of some wealthy Neopolitan aristocrats living in a palace next to Mount Vesuvius.
