Based in Tokyo, FremantleMedia Japan is fostering collaborative relationships with some key players across Japanese broadcasting networks as well as expansion into new, online platforms.
Most recently, FremantleMedia Japan launched FremantleMedia’s hit dating show, Take Me Out, which aired on TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System) – one of Japan’s major TV networks in September 2009. It was the first localisation of a foreign format aired at prime time in the last four years and has won huge audience ratings.
