Eastern Europe started producing hit entertainment and gameshows for FremantleMedia since 2006.
There have been three local versions of the Idols format, Česko hledá Superstar Czech republic, Slovensko hľadá Superstar (Slovakia) and Hrvatska traži zvjezdu (Croatia), which have all proved ratings hits and in 2009, the first Czecho-Slovak Idols (ČeskoSlovenska Superstar) re-united the two nations with record viewing figures and 55% average audience share.
Slovakian Got Talent (Slovensko Ma Talent ) proved the most popular localized version of the hit format in 2008 and the Croatian version of Got Talent Supertalent produced in the Zagreb office in 2009, won almost 50% increase of the broadcaster’s average share.
Family Feud (5 proti 5) has been produced in both Czech Republic and Slovakia as a daily show for three seasons as well as What is My Line? (Hádej, kdo jsem), which was awarded the best TV - show of 2008 and 2009 in Czech Republic.
In Croatia, Farmer Wants a Wife (Ljubav je na selu) was received very well and will launch a new season in 2010.
