Christian Schneider-Sickert

Director of Operations and Strategy, FremantleMedia

Christian Schneider-Sickert is the Director of Operations and Strategy 
for FremantleMedia. In this capacity, he is responsible for driving FremantleMedia’s group strategy, investments and central operations. In addition, he is responsible for FremantleMedia Ventures, the company’s business diversification unit, as well as FremantleMedia's participation TV activities. He is a member of the FremantleMedia Operating Board.

Prior to his joining the Board in early 2006, Schneider-Sickert was Director of Strategy for FremantleMedia. He joined the company from arvato, part of Bertelsmann AG, in 2004 where he was Head of Strategy and responsible for overall corporate strategy as well as mergers and acquisitions. He previously worked in the mergers and acquisitions group of Bertelsmann AG and in the Principal Investment Area at Goldman Sachs in London. Prior to this, Schneider-Sickert co-founded the Oxford Business Group, a business publishing and consulting firm based in London and Istanbul. Schneider-Sickert graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Oriental Studies and holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
