Global Entertainment helps to grow FremantleMedia’s entertainment content pipeline and oversees and supports the rollout of FremantleMedia productions around the world using a small team of expert executive producers, known as Flying Producers. The unit works with the global network of production teams to provide development and production support as they create new formats, and acts as a central conduit to help share and cross pollinate ideas between the teams. It also builds and maintains relationships with third party producers and format owners in order to enhance FremantleMedia’s entertainment slate.
Global Drama unit is the first port of call for scripted producers wanting to tell their stories to a global audience. The team works with our global network of in-house producers; sharing and developing ideas, formats, trending research – as well as best practices – while also helping with the roll out and cross-fertilisation of drama formats and scripted IP. They also work with third party producers around the world to enhance FremantleMedia’s scripted slate, providing development and co-production expertise and creative focus.
FremantleMedia International sells finished programmes and formats around the world, and acquires, develops, finances and co-produces new titles for the international market. The team works with some of the best creative talent in the business, with a catalogue containing a diverse and exciting range of programming spanning drama, comedy, factual, lifestyle and entertainment. Supported by a powerful sales network that spans nine international offices and five continents, and a best-in-class brand management team, FremantleMedia International’s content regularly reaches audiences in over 150 countries around the world.
