Our licensing division is responsible for building brands off screen and extending them into new consumer experiences through carefully planned and individually tailored strategies and partnerships. We focus both on our own FremantleMedia brands such as American Idol, The Price Is Right and The X Factor in addition to representing third party brands such as Rebecca Bonbon, The Adventures of Merlin and several Discovery Brands including LA and Miami Ink and American Chopper.
Sponsorship & Promotions:
Pairing our programming with some of the biggest consumer brands in the world, including Ford, Coca-Cola, Carphone Warehouse, TalkTalk, Rexona, T-Mobile and McDonalds.
Consumer Products:
Slot machines, board games, social media games, video games, apparel, publishing, fitness products, toys and other merchandise enable us to extend brands into the retail market globally.
Interactivity:
We have developed award-winning websites, wireless applications, interactive TV and online gaming for our brands. Additionally our pioneering online and mobile comedy channel Atomic Wedgie, achieved a breakthrough crossover with Secret Girlfriend moving from the web, into a mainstream TV commission.
Live Events:
We continue to build brand awareness through live shows and exhibitions, including Grand Designs Live, the UK's No.1 show for design and innovation and in the US. The Price Is Right Live in Las Vegas entertains thousands of fans each year. In February 2009 we launched one of FME's most innovative brand extension projects with The American Idol Experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, giving starry-eyed guests a chance to be in the spotlight on the attraction’s stage or experience the excitement of a live production.
