FME holds the exclusive licensing, home entertainment (excluding UK) and distribution rights to Merlin and has invested in the series alongside Shine Television and BBC One. Since its international launch at MIPCOM 2008, The Adventures of Merlin has been sold to over 180 countries including NBC in the US. This is the first time in more than 30 years that a UK drama has been bought by a US channel for primetime.
FME has signed significant licensing deals with partners including Random House, Topps, Christy's and Danilo. In addition home entertainment deals have been signed with over 65 territories including the US.
