The gripping Swedish drama series, Modus is back for a second season. Starring Melinda Kinnaman and Henrik Norlén as the returning leads, Inger Johanne Vik and Ingvar Nymann, the atmospheric crime thriller also features Paprika Steen, Johan Rabaeus, Anja Lundqvist, Samuel Fröler, Nina Zanjaniand and international stars Kim Cattrall, Greg Wise and Billy Campbell.
Suspense, love, revenge and hidden secrets threaten to overturn everything in the second season of Modus. The series begins with US President Helen Tyler (Kim Cattrall) on a state visit to Stockholm where she mysteriously disappears. Amid intensive police work, there is a power struggle between a panic-stricken US and Sweden as the threat to one of the world’s most powerful people rocks the whole world. Inger Johanne (Melinda Kinnaman) and Ingvar (Henrik Norlén) are drawn into the pursuit for the truth, but soon it is clear that no one can be trusted.
At the same time, Inger Johanne and Ingvar are in the midst of one of the biggest changes of their lives having moved in together and expecting their first baby. But, everything is turned upside-down when Warren Shifford (Greg Wise), Inger Johannes’ former mentor from the FBI and the right-hand man of the president, shows up. His unexpected arrival forces Inger Johanne to confront painful secrets from her past when master manipulator Warren works himself back into her life again.
