“Pilipinas Got Talent” Debuts As The Philippines’ Number One Show

London, 2 March 2010: FremantleMedia, one of the largest creators and producers of entertainment brands in the world, announces the successful premiere of the first season of Pilipinas Got Talent in the Philippines. The first audition episode aired on broadcaster ABS-CBN on 20 February 2010 in the highly competitive Saturday prime-time slot of 7.30pm. The programme garnered an audience share of a stunning 38.7% nationwide and sustained its leadership on its Sunday at 8.30pm, airing with a 37.5% rating - ranking as the number one show of the week in the Philippines. The closest rival to ABS-CBN rated at 20%.

Pilipinas Got Talent is hosted by Billy Crawford and Luis Manzano with the judging panel of the very vocal and opinionated Queen of Entertainment; Kris Aquino, former ABS-CBN President; Freddie Garcia and Comedy Queen; Ai-Ai Delas Alas. Marc Abaya hosts Pilipinas Got More Talent which is a 30-minute spin-off of the main shows and airs from Mondays to Fridays.
