(MONTREAL, CANADA, May 15 2012) – Interactive entertainment company Ludia Inc. today announced its debut in publishing activities with the signing of a new publishing deal with Brisbane-based video game studio Red Sprite Studios.
Ludia and Red Sprite Studios are currently working together to bring the ‘Save Our Village’ game to various platforms starting this summer. ‘Save Our Village’ is the first publishing deal for Ludia, but the company plans on taking on more projects in the near future.
“Part of our strategy consists of publishing a small number of high quality games, while building close relationships with developers. Over the last few years, we have developed the ability to successfully launch new titles across our ever expanding network of gamers” said Sylvain Croteau, VP Publishing of Ludia Inc.
“We are excited to begin our partnership with Ludia by releasing ‘Save Our Village’. Working with them has been a great experience and the ability to draw on their experiences and successes in the mobile space has only added to the quality of the game.” said John Passfield, Founder of Red Sprite Studios.
Save Our Village is a free to play game where players help rebuild a village ravaged by monsters. Hire brave heroes and explore dungeons to fight monsters and rescue villagers and stolen treasure. Soon players across the world will have a bustling village with houses, taverns and castles at their disposal.
