This highly innovative new video website format was launched on 9th February 2009 as the casting portal of FremantleMedia’s German production company UFA.
The video website focuses on casting and talent with a view to discovering new talents amongst ordinary members of the public. People are invited to submit home videos online at YourChance.de for the chance to be ‘discovered’.
Within the site’s first 100 days, over 9,000 registrations were received, with 23 casting calls subsequently made. The site has also created a community with over 50,000 unique users and is the second hit for the keyword ‘casting’ on Google Germany. Your Chance also continues to receive high praise in hundreds of press articles and on other websites and has clearly captured the German public’s imagination.
