FremantleMedia Enterprises

FremantleMedia Enterprises is the commercial arm of FremantleMedia, which is responsible for exploiting and developing FremantleMedia's properties off-screen in areas such as merchandising, the Internet, interactive television and wireless. It also focuses on more traditional ancillary rights businesses such as licensing, home entertainment and music publishing.

The division incorporates Fremantle International Distribution, which distributes some 19,000 hours of programmes to broadcasters in 150 countries worldwide. Successes range from the award winning international format, Idols, broadcast as prime time show, American Idol, on FOX in the US, to How Clean is Your House? and Jamie's School Dinners. Recently the Canadian teen drama series Falcon Beach and the cutting edge factual series Prehistoric Park have both been sold to over 25 markets worldwide.

FME's worldwide licensing operation FLW works with FremantleMedia's production companies to launch recent successes including the UK Call TV format, Quizmania, in other territories around the world. FLW has also successfully launched a live theatre version of the Price is Right in the Harrah's Casino in Vegas, where nearly a thousand people are paying to play the game every day.

Licensing & Interactive 

Operating out of offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, Australia, Germany and the Netherlands, Fremantle Licensing has translated its media properties to videos, DVDs, board games, hand-held electronic games, CD-Roms, soft toys, stationery, books, magazines, and branded apparel. It has also successfully translated many of its game show formats into the gaming and entertainment environment, including the celebrated The Price Is Right slot machines at Harrah's Rio Casino in Las Vegas. Fremantle Licensing Group has also recently secured its first lottery deal: in Canada, the Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation and the Western Canada Lottery Corporation have licensed the right to sell scratch-cards that are also based on the The Price is Right format. The Interactive department manages the same elements via the internet, wireless, and interactive TV for the company.

Fremantle International Distribution, the distribution arm of FremantleMedia, is a major international distributor of award-winning programming with over 19,000 hours of entertainment, drama, factual and other programming delivered to broadcasters in over 150 countries worldwide. Our extensive catalogue comprises of over 2,000 titles including action-packed family entertainment, classic comedy programmes and game shows, engaging factual productions, exciting dramas, thrilling mini-series, glamorous TV Movies and a variety of children's animation. Operating a unique decentralised sales structure through seven regional offices in London, New York, Berlin, Madrid, Miami, Singapore and Sydney, allows us to get close to our customers and give effective representation of programming in an ever more fragmented global market.
