Got Talent is an award winning global ratings hit, breaking audience records in multiple territories worldwide. Launched as Britain’s Got Talent in June 2007, the format has since become one of the most successful and progressively growing entertainment brands in the world. The Got Talent format now airs in more than 50 territories globally, with more on the way.

Got Talent remains the world’s top entertainment format for the second year running, featuring on more top ten lists around the world than any other show, according to Eurodata/Mediametrie.

The show features dancers, singers, comedians, variety acts, and other talented performers of all ages. A panel of judges decide which acts progress to the live semi-finals when the public have the chance to vote for their favourites.

The Got Talent format continues to generate long term success, with series-on-series growth around the world. In 2009, Britain’s Got Talent achieved a record breaking audience of 18.3 million, ranking as UK’s number one entertainment programme of the last decade and the highest rated show of the year. 

The format also breaks records online: The YouTube channel for Britain’s Got Talent, recently notched up its 1 billionth view, making it one of the most viewed YouTube channels of all time.
