Shotglass Media, the digital label of FremantleMedia UK, has been commissioned to produce Levine on Love, a 3 x 15” series hosted by DJ Alice Levine, for the Radio 1 Channel of BBC iPlayer.

By 2030, the majority of relationships will have started online and this series will look how the internet is changing love. It’s not just the way people meet that’s changing, the types of relationships they’re having is evolving too. Alice will explore long distance relationships, polyamorous lifestyles, niche dating sites, toyboys and more in this contemporary and enlightening documentary about love in the 21st century.

Levine commented, “I’m excited to lift the lid on modern love and challenge some pre-conceptions. There’s more types of relationship and models for love now than ever before – this series has been a real eye-opener…sometimes even eye watering!”

James Cooper, Executive Producer, Shotglass Media, added, “On the lead up to Valentine’s Day, we have one of the country’s hottest young DJs looking at what love means now and how technology is ultimately changing the human experience. It’s a great example of a concept, platform and talent coming together to create truly compelling content.”

Levine on Love was commissioned by Sam Bailey, Editor, BBC Radio 1 and will be available from this Friday 10 February.
